Outdoor Adventures for People with Additional Needs
Start with what you’d like to do
Time outdoors can be a chance to explore somewhere new, learn a skill or enjoy a day in the hills at your own pace.
At Hilladventures, I have experience supporting neurodivergent people and people with physical disabilities to take part in outdoor adventures. I start by getting to know you—your interests, what you’d like to experience and what support could help you take part.
You don’t need to have everything worked out before getting in touch.
An Individual Approach
Everyone brings different experiences, strengths and preferences. We’ll discuss what you’d like to do, how you prefer to communicate and any support that could help you enjoy the day.
Supporting Neurodivergent People
Knowing what to expect can make trying a new activity more comfortable. We can talk about how instructions are explained, sensory preferences, time to process information and how changes to plans are communicated.
Tell me what works for you.
Working with People with Physical Disabilities
We’ll discuss your interests alongside the practical details of the activity, including terrain, distance, pace, breaks and any equipment or support requirements.
Suitability is considered individually. Before booking, we’ll establish what I can offer and any limitations that may affect your plans.
Families, Carers and Support Organisations
You’re welcome to enquire for yourself or someone you support. Wherever possible, planning will include the person taking part, so their interests and preferences shape the experience.
Please mention if a family member, carer or support worker would like to attend.
Let’s Plan Your Adventure
Tell me what interests you, any preferred dates and what would help you take part. We’ll discuss suitable options, practical arrangements and the price before you book.
